1. Donate Cattle Directly to Dakota Hope Clinic
The simplest way to turn your livestock into hope!
Did you know you can donate a calf, cow, steer, or other marketable livestock directly to Dakota Hope Clinic?
Instead of selling the animal yourself and donating the money, you can arrange to transfer ownership of the animal to Dakota Hope Clinic before the sale.
How It Works:
- Choose your gift. Decide which animal or animals you would like to donate. It could be one calf, several head of cattle, or a portion of your herd.
- Contact Dakota Hope Clinic. Let us know you'd like to make a livestock donation.
- Arrange the transfer. We'll work with you and the appropriate livestock auction or buyer to coordinate the transfer of ownership to Dakota Hope Clinic before the sale.
- Make an impact. The donated livestock is sold, and the proceeds help Dakota Hope Clinic provide valuable services to women, babies, and families.

2. Raise Cattle for a Cause Through STEER, Inc.
Use your ranching experience to grow hope!
Through our partnership with STEER, Inc., ranchers can participate in a unique program that uses livestock production to generate financial support for Dakota Hope Clinic.
STEER helps provide the initial livestock investment, while participating ranchers contribute their time, facilities, feed, and care to raise the animals.
How the Program Works:
- Join the program. Contact Dakota Hope Clinic or STEER, Inc. to learn how you can participate.
- Partner with STEER. STEER provides funding for eligible livestock purchases according to its program guidelines.
- Raise the livestock. You provide the care, feed, facilities, and expertise needed to raise the animals.
- Sell the livestock. When the animals are ready for market, the sale proceeds are sent to STEER, Inc.
- Support Dakota Hope. STEER uses the proceeds to account for its investment and distributes the designated gain to Dakota Hope Clinic.
This program provides a way for ranchers to use their everyday work and God-given abilities to help families in need.
